Saint Laurent

In the lexicon of cool-girl style, there are very few cooler than double-threat celebrity progeny ZoĆ« Kravitzā€”that is, unless you consider that she got it from her mama, Lisa Bonet (dad Lenny Kravitz is no slouch, either).

Now, legendary French fashion house Saint Laurentā€”formerly more commonly known for its founding designer Yves Saint Laurent, YSL for shortā€”is tapping into Kravitzā€™s enigmatic brand of chic for a series of new campaigns for the labelā€™s fall collection.

Saint Laurent

We canā€™t say weā€™re surprised; after all, whoā€™s not only cool enough to intimidate adorable it-girl Zoey Johnson on Grown-ish, but by Saint Laurentā€™s estimation, is also hot enough make a television explode when she comes onscreen?

The 29-year-old Kravitz, who will soon be reprising her role as Bonnie in the HBO hit series Big Little Lies, has been steadily making a name for herself as both a bona fide star and style icon in her own right over the past decade. Aside from becoming one to watch on the red carpet, sheā€™s also no stranger to the campaign game, previously starring in campaigns for Alexander Wang, Vera Wangā€™s Pretty Princess fragrance, Calvin Klein and Balenciaga, among others.

The starā€™s latest turn as a Saint Laurent muse is a perfect fit for her rock star-meets-ingenue image, as in recent years, Saint Laurent has revived its early held status as one of the most fashion-forward of the major French houses. Like Kravitz, the label is having a major moment.
