Was the newest British royal, baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, born in a birthing pool? Or, perhaps he entered the world as Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, labored in her bed at Frogmore Cottage at Windsor Castle, assisted by a midwife or doula?

Ehh ... no. Turns out #BabySussex was born in a place common to us commoners: the hospital.

According to the Washington Post, the royals released Archie’s birth certificate Friday, and it showed he was born at Portland Hospital, an American-owned, upscale, private medical center in London’s Westminster neighborhood.

No birth weight or length was given, but the certificate indicated that the baby royal entered the world on May 6 to father, Prince Harry, aka ‚ÄúHis Royal Highness Henry Charles Albert David Duke of Sussex,‚ÄĚ and mother, Meghan n√©e Markle, aka ‚ÄúRachel Meghan Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Sussex.‚ÄĚ

The document noted Meghan‚Äôs birthplace of California in these United States, and gave as her occupation: ‚ÄúPrincess of the United Kingdom.‚ÄĚ
