With “Pynk,” the latest single from her upcoming release, Dirty Computer (due out April 27), Monáe builds on the momentum of February’s “Make Me Feel” with another Prince-tinged melody about the power of sexual liberation. This time, we’re speaking specifically about #PussyPower.

In a mesmerizing series of vignettes that put a new spin on “summer loving,” Monáe—once again co-starring with close companion Tessa Thompson—takes her friends for a desert cruise in her pink Cadillac and finds nirvana in a rose-colored, Black Girl Magic-centric oasis. Then there’s the choreography: Once again, Monáe gives new meaning to a “workout,” taking “yoga” to orgasmic new levels. Not to mention the indelible image of Thompson and Monáe crawling toward each other across a sea of pulsating, underwear-clad asses ...

You know what? Just check it for yourself. And fellas, if you’re feeling left out, don’t. In the immortal words of Ms. Monáe: “If you got blue, we got the pynk.”

I said what I said.
